Peacock Advertising: How to Advertise on Peacock, and What It Takes
NBCUniversal sells Peacock ads directly and through a self-serve tool. Here is how each route works, what the formats are, and where a managed buy fits.
By Timothy Lalonde · Updated September 2026 · CTV Advertising Costs
Quick answer
There are two ways to advertise on Peacock through NBCUniversal: its sales team, for direct buys and premium formats like Arrival Ads and Spotlight, and Peacock Ad Manager, a self-serve tool NBCUniversal launched with tvScientific in 2022 for performance, local and small advertisers. NBCUniversal's Peacock advertising pages don't list prices. Through Screenbridge Reach, Peacock is arranged per campaign through a direct deal rather than being part of the standard buy.
Key takeaways
- NBCUniversal sells Peacock ads two ways: directly through its sales team, and self-serve through Peacock Ad Manager, launched with tvScientific in April 2022.
- Peacock's premium formats include Arrival Ads on the profile selection screen, Spotlight takeovers, Pause Ads and a :10 Mindful Moments placement.
- NBCUniversal's Peacock advertising pages don't list prices, and the Peacock Ad Manager launch announcement didn't state a minimum.
- Peacock Ad Manager has you upload a finished, TV-ready ad.
- Screenbridge Reach arranges Peacock per campaign through a direct deal. Its standard buy covers the rest of premium streaming, with no minimum spend and creative included on packages from $10,000 a month.

How Advertising on Peacock Works
Peacock is NBCUniversal's streaming service, and NBCUniversal sells its ad inventory. There are two routes in.
The first is NBCUniversal's own sales team. That's where direct buys and Peacock's premium formats are sold, and NBCUniversal's Peacock advertising pages ask brands to get in touch rather than listing prices.
The second is Peacock Ad Manager, a self-serve buying tool NBCUniversal launched with tvScientific in April 2022. NBCUniversal described it as a way for performance advertisers, local advertisers and small and medium-sized businesses to "enter their budget, choose their target audience and KPIs, upload their creative, and measure delivery as well as performance" (NBCUniversal, April 2022).
Peacock's Ad Formats
Beyond standard in-stream spots, NBCUniversal lists several Peacock-specific placements:
- Arrival Ad: an exclusive first-view placement on Peacock's profile selection page, before a viewer picks anything to watch.
- Spotlight: on a day you choose, your ad is delivered to all Peacock viewers across all content.
- Live in Browse: your brand's logo inside the preview of a live event.
- Pause Ads: an ad shown when a viewer pauses, which NBCUniversal now also sells programmatically.
- Mindful Moments: a :10 brand moment at the close of an ad break.
What Advertising on Peacock Costs
NBCUniversal's Peacock advertising pages describe the formats and invite brands to contact its team; they don't list prices. The Peacock Ad Manager launch announcement didn't state a minimum budget either. Treat any specific Peacock CPM you find online as a third-party estimate unless it comes from NBCUniversal.
For planning, premium US streaming generally runs $25 to $60 CPM in our media-planning benchmarks (see our full CTV advertising cost breakdown). Ask NBCUniversal, or whoever runs your buy, for a Peacock-specific quote before you set a budget around it, and ask about premium formats like Spotlight and Arrival Ads separately.
One cost that sits outside the media quote: the ad itself. Peacock Ad Manager has you upload a finished, TV-ready spot.
Peacock and Screenbridge Reach
Straight answer, because it matters for planning: Peacock isn't part of Screenbridge Reach's standard buy. When a campaign justifies it, we arrange Peacock through a direct deal for that campaign. If Peacock specifically matters to your plan, say so on the first call so we can scope the deal early.
Our standard buy covers the rest of premium streaming, including Hulu, Paramount+, Tubi, The Roku Channel, Samsung TV+ and Pluto TV, in one managed campaign. Screenbridge Reach has no minimum spend: budgets start from $50 a day, and on packages from $10,000 a month we build your ad from the UGC and social ads you already have.
When to Buy Peacock Directly
Going straight to NBCUniversal is the right call when:
- Peacock specifically is the goal, for example a live event or a program your audience watches there, rather than premium streaming in general.
- You want a premium format like Spotlight or an Arrival Ad, which NBCUniversal sells directly.
- You already have a finished, TV-ready ad and a team or agency that can run the campaign.
- Your test is small and single-platform, which is what Peacock Ad Manager was built for.
No commitment required. No production budget needed. Just a conversation.

Where a Managed Buy Fits
Once the plan is "reach the right households across premium streaming" rather than "be on Peacock", one managed campaign is usually simpler than several single-platform accounts. See how that works in what a CTV advertising agency does, or compare self-serve costs on Roku and Hulu.
The results below come from CTV campaigns running creative Screenbridge built from content each brand already had, such as Carve's behind-the-scenes iPhone footage. They are client outcomes, not category averages.
Buying Peacock Directly vs. Through Screenbridge Reach
| Direct from NBCUniversal | Screenbridge Reach (managed) | |
|---|---|---|
| How you buy | NBCUniversal's sales team, or its self-serve Peacock Ad Manager | One managed campaign across premium streaming |
| Entry cost | Not listed on NBCUniversal's Peacock advertising pages | No minimum; from $50 a day. Creative included from $10,000 a month in media |
| Who makes the creative | You, for Peacock Ad Manager: you upload a finished, TV-ready ad | Screenbridge, built from your existing UGC and social ads; included on packages from $10,000 a month |
| Peacock access | Yes, by definition | Arranged per campaign through a direct deal |
| Other platforms | NBCUniversal's own properties | Hulu, Paramount+, Tubi, The Roku Channel, Samsung TV+, Pluto TV and more in the same buy |
| Who runs the campaign | You (self-serve), or NBCUniversal's team (direct buys) | Screenbridge Reach manages the buy |
